On January 30th, a group of leading North American researchers met at the University of Windsor to discuss possible collaborations in health and safety-related automotive research at a symposium organized by the Canadian Consulate General Detroit.

The objective of the meeting was to bring together researchers and graduate students working on projects related to automobile occupant and automotive worker safety in hopes of future collaborations on projects, student exchanges or guest lecture opportunities.

The group included Canadian researchers from AUTO21, Dalhousie University, Laval University McMaster University, and the University of Windsor, and American researchers from Ohio State University and Wayne State University.
