AUTO21 Announces New Theme Coordinator
AUTO21 is pleased to announce Dr. Mark Kozdras, Program Manager, Automotive Materials, CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory (CANMET-MTL) at Natural Resources Canada is the new Theme Coordinator for Materials and Manufacturing.
 
Dr. Kozdras is a professional engineer in Ontario and has been a member of the American Society for Materials and the Society of Automotive Engineers for over 20 years. As a technical manager at CANMET-MTL, Kozdras looks forward to developing his own materials research program to support automotive lightweighting and energy efficiency initiatives. We look forward to Dr. Kozdras’ contributions as a theme coordinator.

New Short-term R&D Funding Available



To help researchers and industry partners develop new R&D opportunities, AUTO21 introduces the Venture Partnership Fund (VPF). This short-term funding is designed to help AUTO21 researchers explore the merits of potential longer-term research or commercialization initiatives with current or new industry partners. Successful VPF projects will receive limited funding for six months. This fund replaces the former Feasibility Fund.
